CSP Annual Conference: funding support

We understand that some of our members face financial and other barriers to attending our student or annual conference. This page provides information on our Widening Participation Award, and other funding and support that may be available to you. 

Widening Participation Award

After two successful years, the Widening Participation Award will be back for CSP Annual Conference 2025.  Applications for this award will open in the the spring of 2025, aimed at members facing financial barriers or from under-represented groups. Please see below for other sources of funding.

The CSP award enabled me to attend CSP conference, by reducing some of the barriers to participation that result from my medical disabilities.

Other sources of funding

CSP Charitable Trust Conference and Presentation Award

This award provides funding for CSP members who are presenting at a conference, or for members up to a band 5 who wish to attend a conference for the first time.

Applications are due to open from July 2025 – September 2025.

Community for Allied Health Professions Research (CAPHR) 

CAHPR has regional hubs across the UK, some of which have grants available to attend or to present at conferences. Examples include:

CSP Network funding

If you belong to a CSP network such as a regional or diversity network, or a professional network, there may be funding opportunities available from the network, so get in touch with the committees. 

Letters of support

If you require a letter of support from the CSP to apply for funding to attend conference, for example to show your employer or educator, email us at conference@csp.org.uk
