Accessibility guide

Accessibility and inclusion information for the CSP Annual Conference 2025.

Conference code of conduct

To ensure that every attendee feels welcome and safe, we have a conference code of conduct that we expect everyone to adhere to.

Online programme

The conference programme will be accessible online from May 2025. You will be able to navigate across the three days, different rooms, content of the sessions and speakers.

Conference app

The CSP Annual Conference 2025 App will be available to download on Android and iOS devices. It will contain information on the programme, speakers, exhibition and venue.

In-person event accessibility

The conference is being held at ICC Wales which has a dedicated accessibility page.

Disabled and wheelchair-user parking is available. There is step free access to each room and onto the main stage, and dedicated space for wheelchair users in the audience.

There is one changing places toilet, and additional disabled toilets on every level.

A quiet room will be available for the duration of the event.

We will also ensure there is a prayer room and feeding room available for the duration of the event.

There is ample green space nearby for assistance dogs, and water can be provided if requested.

Sight impairments

We will have seating reserved at the front should you wish to sit near the speakers. If you require session content to view on a personal device due to a sight impairment, please email us at conference@csp.org.uk with the sessions you plan to attend by 1 November 2025 and we can provide this for you. Speech to text captions will be available on screen in all rooms excluding the networking zone and demo area.

Babies

Babies are welcome at the conference, and you will have access to a changing places toilet. Pushchairs and prams can be parked in the cloakroom. We will also have a feeding room available, which has toilet and washing facilities.

We understand that babies can make noise, and just ask that if a session is being disrupted that you take your baby out of the session for a short while. If you are presenting and bringing a baby, we ask that you identify someone who can care for your baby while you are presenting.

Food and drink

You will be asked about dietary requirements when you book your ticket. All dietary requirements we are informed about will be catered for and the food labelled clearly. If you have any questions, allergy champions will be available to help.

Additional support

If you require any additional support – for example, assistance when arriving or moving between rooms – please let us know so we can arrange this for you. We will always have staff at the registration/information desk should you need anything.

Feedback

We are striving to make our events inclusive and accessible for our attendees. If you have any feedback about accessibility, inclusion or this guide, please share it with us at conference@csp.org.uk.
