About the faculty
The School of Health Sciences was formed on 1 August 2008 by bringing together the world-class teaching and research from three other schools and departments. The Health Care Innovation Unit, the School of Health Professions and Rehabilitation Services, the School of Nursing and Midwifery have combined in order to bring improvements to our students and our colleagues in the NHS. By combining the expertise of each area we are now able to offer a truly interprofessional experience to everyone that studies or carries out research here.
