In 2006  the Physiotherapy division moved to a new, purpose built building, this flagship building signifies Brunel University's investment in the future growth and development of the School of Health Sciences and Social Care and of our staff and students. Together we will continue to enhance the "spirit of innovation" espoused by I K Brunel through research, learning and teaching.

About the faculty

With its five academic divisions of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Biosciences, Social Work and Health Studies/Community Health, the School of Health Sciences and Social Care is one of the largest at Brunel University. We offer a modern and exciting range of courses with flexible modes of study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to our 1,800 students. The School has over 100 academic staff and 20 support staff involved in the delivery of research-led teaching and research activity. Our 40 research students and fellows add to the School's vibrant research culture and scholarly excellence.
