CSP to join rally to protect the right to strike

Members can join trade unionists from across the country for a national rally defending our democratic rights to industrial action.

The movement has defeated anti-trade union legislation before. 40 years ago, staff at Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) in Cheltenham were sacked for trade union membership. But their principled and sustained campaign eventually overturned this ban.

Now, we will re-tread the same streets of Cheltenham, to celebrate this trailblazing campaign, and to defend all workers from new legislative threats to workers' rights.
