Wear Red Day is a national day of action, organised by campaign group Show a Red Card to Racism, which encourages schools, businesses, organisations and individuals to wear red and donate £1 to help provide anti-racism education for young people and adults across Great Britain.

CSP chair Alex MacKenzie said she encouraged council colleagues to wear something red in support of the day.

She told Frontline: ‘The CSP as an organisation has signed up to Show Racism the Red Card and of course we are well aware of the campaign, but it’s equally important that as leaders within the CSP we show clear solidarity with the campaign as well.’
