Movement-based subgrouping in low back pain: synergy and divergence in approaches

Abstract

We read with great interest and would like to congratulate Karayannis, Jull and Hodges for the study entitled “Movement-based subgrouping in low back pain: synergy and divergence in approaches”, published in the June 2015 issue of this journal [1]. This study contributes innovatively to the understanding of different subclassification schemes in patients with low back pain. Like the authors, we too are clinicians interested in the study of non-specific low back pain and particularly applaud the initiative to address five important subclassification schemes in one study [2–6].
